So much for patriotism. I don't know. Don't get me wrong. I love Malaysia, the country that Tunku Abdul Rahman envisioned. But I don't know what Malaysia is turning into. Political incompetence, racial division, not to mention many accounts of just plain old stupidity. Well despite saying that, I guess there's still a lot to love about Malaysia. I think?

If you're looking for nice photos to see, I'm afraid this post might not do. This is just what I did last weekend. A trip to the butchers. WTH? Why do you need to post about a trip to the butchers? Why did you even bring your camera to the butchers? Well it's because a good cousin of mine said that there's always plenty of things to update about. And this is probably the only thing that didn't seem to fit in my mundane routine that I call life. So... here look at some pics!

After that, we tried out this Turkish Restaurant just next door.

The dude there is cutting the dough which he'd then use for the bread used in rolls/kebabs or pides.

Friday Tunes 2: I Wish I Could Sing Like Them.

Welcome to another edition of Friday Tunes here on Magmachilli! Today we've got quite a line up! Well I guess this week we have screamo aka high pitched guys singing on the show today. Damn how do these guys sing? Well they're awesome songs, so do listen!

First up, it's Saosin. Just a bit of introduction, the bands name is derived from the word 小心. They just toured Australia early this year I think. Can't think of anything else to say so here's Saosin with "Voices".


Up next it's Destroy The Runner with "Saint". This is from their previous their album. Their latest album is "I, Lucifer". Can't say much other than the fact that they're not screamo. They're Christian Metalcore.


Lastly, we have Blessthefall with "Guys Like You Make Us Look Bad". According to most people, this song is about rape and how it affected a person, or affects victims. Rape is not cool. It's bad and people should just keep their libido under control. Seriously. Be you male or female, when someone doesn't want to do it with you, don't act like a brat who always get what he wants. Grow up! There are consequences to your actions.

Friday Tunes

In attempt to at least update often, here we have a new section called 'Friday Tunes!' Basically I'll post up Youtube videos or maybe links to songs. Songs that I think are cool. Though my taste would differ quite a bit from yours, I will try to post up songs that you might like, as well as try to expose you to less mainstream, or more heavier metal tunes that aren't radio friendly.

OK I've got quite a lineup for you today!

Slipknot will be releasing their new album "All Hope Is Gone" later this month. And they've got new masks again! Really like Joey Jordison's new mask, though as a Chrisitian that's probably not the right response. But then again, maybe Slipknot itself isn't the type of music that a Christian should listen to.

Anyway here's "Psychosocial".


Next up is Underoath. This is actually from their older album "Define The Great Line". New album is coming out next month. Nice metalcore band. Anyway here's " In Regard To Myself".


Last but not least here's Dragonforce with "Heroes Of Our Time".

MSO Perisher Blue Trip 2008

Went to Perisher Blue on Saturday. The trip was organized by the Malaysian Student Organization (MSO) of ANU. It was a day trip. I (kinda) learned how to snowboard. Well after countless times of falling on the knees or on the butt, that is... I can't really turn well, and I can't definitely can't ride switch (with my back foot forward). But all in all, it was a good experience. Thankfully I don't ache all over anymore... Now pictures! Didn't take many though. Seeing as I was snowboarding and all. And besides it was really cold. For these pics, my hands went all red. And camera couldn't autofocus properly. Had to do things manually. Well enjoy (hopefully...)

Sennheiser MX 460, you've failed me.

So annoying. My earphones are faulty now. Don't buy Sennheiser MX460 earphones. They are pretty cheap. My right piece cover has come off and before this it wasn't problem. All I had to do was put them back in position, and they'll stay there for most of the time. But now the bass in the right piece is inexistant. There's no bass! And it's so weird. IMBA now. And I've only used this for about half a year. Maybe I can go claim warranty... Or I'll just have to go buy another pair of earphones...

Warning. This will be a total waste of your time. Not to mention will make you more retarded than you already are.

OH and another thing. Please don't think of me any lesser than you do because of this post. I don't really act like this in real life. This is just purely fictional for the purpose of this post.
