Parkway Drive Live In MCPA Hall, KL

Wanna know what's effin' hardcore? MCPA Theater. Went with Matt, Jason, Sufian, Poh Hock and Zhi Kang.

Parkway Drive gig was awesome. Somehow managed to stay conscious in a room where it's so hot and humid (the air was dense with sweat) that mist forms on the windows and where condensation of air occurs around a bottle of cold water like smoke. Before Parkway Drive took the stage, there were other Malaysian Hardcore Bands that played. Only managed to see Cassandra and if I'm not mistaken DaShown. I think some people are bigger fans of Cassandra compared to Parkway Drive, which is a good thing. SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL SCENE!

So what do you do in a hardcore concert? Let's see, listen to the band, headbang, revel in the breakdowns, mosh, be amused at the hardcore dancers (I still don't get it), avoid getting your nose getting broken, push a lot of people, move aside if you don't want to get stuck in the pit, scream, jump, raise your fist, have fun.

How was Parkway Drive? The frontman seemed like he was having a tough time even being on the stage due to the heat! Hottest show ever! Can't remember the set list, but it was a good show. I shall stop here before I start using cliche terms like saying how they rocked and stuff like that, but I really think that those who didn't go missed out big time, those who didn't go refering to people who actually enjoy the darker heavier side of music.

Good music, good company. What else could you ask more? (Hot chicks would be a big plus though. LOL) Great gig, hope to go for more in the future.
