dude, this sorta effect/treatment that you have in your pictures, is it done with the camera or on the computer software? It looks like a picture taken with a LOMO camera.
Yeah I use computer software. I so want a lomo cam, and I guess you can tell by how I treat my photos.
This shot was taken with a film though. Weather wasn't too great, so the colours were dull.
oh... i'm considering getting a LOMO camera, Diana mini, but I can't help but feel that at the end of the day it's a TOY camera. Do you think it's worth getting?
well what's wrong with a toy? imo toys are awesome. lomo cameras aren't just toys. they're proper cameras that have a produce a certain effects. of course you could edit your photos taken with a normal digital to look like that too but it's just not the same.
i think diana's are good cameras. the diana mini seems very convenient to carry around, and the square format and half frame seems really cool.
be warned that film is getting a bit expensive, though i'm sure you can find bulk orders of expired film on ebay. i think developing is still at a reasonable price in malaysia.

lol. long story. i was going to that place in DU called ermmm can't remember what's its called. anyway it was just a few days after i got my license. so the roads there are really narrow as it is, and there's an idiot who double parked, and me thinking of the camera, didn't drive carefully, so i scratched the guys car. so duh, didn't think of buying anymore, went home straight after that. lol hope the a-hole doesn't read this.

is it cheaper here or there? or standard? btw, the only way to upload pictures taken with a Diana Mini is by scanning the photos? Non of them are digital?
yeah you have to scan. but when you go and develop your photos, you can ask them to scan too as well as print. if not you can just ask them to develop and you can take home and scan. some shops have special scanners made for scanning film. i'm not sure how it's like in malaysia. i could go search on a few forums.
the cheapest would be to buy from hong kong i think. depending on what's the currency rate.
