Going for the layup.

rejected
1.dismissed as inadequate, inappropriate, or not to one's taste
2.denied entry cause the subject is... just plain ewwww?
application: Whoah, he's going for that chick who's totally out of his league? She's not drunk enough to go for him. OHHHHH! REJECTED. What a loser, on the floor covered with her drink. He shouldn't have worn those khakis.... Khakis are not cool...

I must say, rejection really sucks.

When rejected, one has to think, what now? What does this mean in terms of the future. Where do we go from here? And if it wasn't bad enough being rejected, how about not really knowing the reason behind the rejection? That would make the situation a whole lot worse, not knowing how to prevent the next rejection.

He's going for the layup! But wait, Shaq's just under the basket! He's not gonna make it! REJECTED!

FRESNO!

Last paper down. How did I do this semester? I don't think I did very well to be honest, but what's done is done. I have to leave it in God's as well as the lecturers' hands.

Now time to pick up all the paper on the floor.

FREEDOM!

Why is the title Fresno? 'Cause when I thought of Freedom, I thought of Fresno. Don't ask.

It's 12.01am. Finally it's my first paper of this exam season. ECON 2102. I really feel unprepared and I don't know how I'll go. I feel I could have prepared more, and I do admit I have been distracted along the way. God help me!

I think I'll sleep now.

Yes You Can!

America has decided. Barack Obama is to be the next President of the United States of America. Who would have thought that in our lifetime that there would be a African American President in the White House? But then again why should it seem so hard to believe. I guess it's probably as hard to believe for the Americans as it would be for us Malaysians if there was a non-Malay Prime Minister. But you have to ask yourself, why is it that hard to believe? Why is Malaysian politics so racial?

Well let's not let Malaysian Politics steal the limelight off the main celebration today, the election of the next President of America. Well you have to give Senator John McCain some credit. He did put up a good fight. He defintely has served his coutry well, and his love and passion for America is very evident and true. It's just that the product that Obama was offering, CHANGE, is one that is so desirable, especially in this time and age, and understandably so. Economy is bad, the Wars are bad, and obviously the Americans want things to change. And with the whole world behind the Americans, they have selected CHANGE. Now what is to come in the coming years, who knows? But what's certain is that Future Mr President is going to have a tough time fulfilling his promises, and I wish him all the best and may God bless him and America.

I think I better stop right here and get back on with my studies. But today marks a new step in America, and marks a huge achievement for African Americans who have undergone a lot of oppresion. I really hope to see CHANGE that is as meaningful in Malaysia too in the years to come.

Oh I should mention, a program called Foreign Correspondant on ABC did a show on the Malaysia and the Alantuyaa Shaariibuu scandal and the Najib's connection and the Anwar sodomy controversy and the arrest of Raja Petra under the ISA. Well it's not like it was detailed since it was only half an hour, but to think that Malaysian politics have caught the attention of Australian media, I can only laugh... Oh and Najib's English is pretty good I have to say...

Do you have anything to say?

Switched to Aminus3

Another short post. I switched my photoblog to Aminus3. I already updated the link at the side. I think it's better since it's more community based...
