Last summer, I had the opportunity to chill and take a break up North at the Gold Coast, way before the state went underwater.
But first, here's couple of pics from Hurricanes at Darling Harbour.

This is Taufiq. He wants to be the Prime Minister of Singapore. Yup.
This is Jee. He dresses better than you. Oh and they're brothers.
This is Sam. He was my housemate for a year (sounds a bit like playmate of the year lol). He's the nicest guy on the planet, like seriously. It's near impossible to get this guy pissed. Annoyed, possible. Like full on angry, try again in a million years.
So, I didn't exactly take photos of every single thing I did, but here are some of the things I did do.
So we took the train to Brisbane.
And here's Brisbane.
Brisbane's a little like Sydney, just a little smaller. Initial impression is that it's a little gray and concrete-ty. In case you don't know, Brisbane is the capital city of the state of Queensland. This metropolitan city is named after the river which it sits on which was named after some Sir Thomas Brisbane, once the governor or New South Wales. Thanks Wikipedia.
While we were in Brisbane, we checked out the Musuem.
They had a go at being dinosaurs...
...while he had a go at flying.
After that, we visited the Art Gallery.

When that was done, we just chilled in the city.
She doesn't seem like she's enjoying her ice cream.
Life feels a bit like that right now.
After a day in the city, and a cuppa Starbucks, we took the train back to the Gold Coast.
But by the time we reached Gold Coast, we missed our bus. So we waited.
