Google up the lyrics. It's worthwhile.

Say something funny! *Kachak*

Unilodge Crossroads Bible Study ( dan lain lain...). I like this group shot.

Blurry pics.

Blurry pics. Automatically we'd think, man this sucks. My hands were shaky, or the person moved, or focus was wrong. But I think blurry pics have a certain appeal. You can guess peekaboo with them. Ok seriously, you can't see how they look. And in a few years down the line, if you see these pics, you still probably can tell who they are even though they've changed already because they haven't really changed. I probably am not making much sense now so I'll stop.

Notice how I put Foo's and Jia Ling's pic together? Actually Jia Ling pic wasn't out of focus or anything. This was taken from a pic of Wan Yong's I think. But I thought why not try to get a pattern going. But now I think I kinda messed up the pattern.

ANU International Ball 2008: Broadway

I'm posting this and the event hasn't even ended. I went for the ANU International Ball today. And guess what? I wore the same thing I wore to the Prefect Reunion. Just different shoes (which I had to get from Big W for a whopping $40 and it's those cheap generic shoes, ughhh) and my friends tie.

How was it? Well I left early, so that's saying something. But what kills me is the fact that I didn't get many nice shots. Really regret not going to the front of the stage to take close up pics of the performers.

Food? Nothing much to brag about. Had Battered Salmon with Tomato Rice (or might have been some kind of Rissoto). And had mud cake for dessert, which wasn't very nice in my opinion.

Entertainment? There were a few dance performances, 2 band gigs before I left. The first band, well it wasn't that good. I didn't know what the first song was, but couldn't really hear the vocallist. He wasn't that good. The second song was Bring Me To Life by Evanescence. I really liked the choice of song. The female singer was good. And I liked her dress, but that's not really relevant. The guitar seemed a bit of in the intro which really bugged me. Last was This Love by Maroon 5. But all in all they were ok. The next band was a duo. I forgot what was their first song, but their second was a Radiohead song, which I don't remember about, and the last was a Britney cover, Hit Me Baby One More Time! They didn't leave a strong impression on me. Oh there was also this choir that did a few broadway songs. I only remember them doing Mama Mia by Abba. Dance performance? There was this salsa thing by the organizing committee, some chinese fan dancing and the most interesting one of all, the Dominatrix performance by the MSO. Man that was some scary stuff... Moral of the story, don't mess with Malaysian chicks... Hmm these performances remind me of the time I got to play with Lemon Tea for SAM corroboree.

I left early because I followed a friend who had to sleep. And the rest of the table were going to the Casino after the ball and I didn't want to go and also they all speak chinese. There was no way I was going to fit in. So...

Well that's all. Look at the crappy pics!

Table.

Stuff on the table.

Look up!

Quite pretty.

Sun Sky.

Fei Tong and Err... ( I didn't catch her name!) She's from Sydney.

Me, Irfan and Fei Tong. Err... took the pic. Shaky hands anyone?

Irfan complained I didn't take his picture.

Andy and Err...

Fei Tong. Taken by Irfan.

Dessert.

Dance by the Committee.

Band Performance. I must say the one who shone was the chick at the most right. Her dress was reminiscent of the dress worn by the female vocalist from High and Mighty Color.

I like this shot. It's sharp. The choir. Note: second from the right.

Crappy pics right? And you'd notice that they're really grainy if you zoom in. Failed yet again. Feel free to comment on how terrible they are. I didn't really edit them much. Without Lightroom, I don't feel like doing much editting. I need a better computer.

Oh I also bought a book of raffle tickets. Hope I got the first prize, which is a return flight to Malaysia. But if I did get it, I would have gotten a call by now, which means... poopsicles...!

If you were there too, do comment on your experience! ( Though highly unlikely seeing as not many people read my blog.)

Random Thought 5

You know, World Youth Day, why do they call it that? I mean there were a lot of old people. And the pope ain't that young either...

Second Week In Malaysia

National Geographic shot!

Also went to Asia Cafe on Thursday night to meet up with cousin Moses/ Shon/ Leon. I'm confused.

Foosball DYP event. Really envious of their skill... Four hands! No smile for the camera?

Friday. Went to Jun Sheng's place to meet up with the gang minus few important characters. Then had lunch. Then went got a lift from the Kangs to Church. On the way had dinner at Jalan 222. Thanks for dinner! And the church. And then had supper with Sarah and Esther's cell at Murni.

Australian team from City Life Church, Melbourne.Inside Maranatha Hall, Glad TidingsJason and a person of interest. But that story is not for me to tell...Pink PantherShot taken by Esther. Very sharp. At least sharper than the shots I took that day.Murni is one crazy place. How do they manage to serve so many people? Precooked food? Again this shot was taken by Esther.Sarah Kate. This is the sharpest shot I got all night. Seriously , maybe I'm not cut out for this. I don't like my face. Taken by Sarah. She says she's more pro than me. I think she's right.

Saturday. Last day! Went to Pyramid to meet up with Ian, Jason and Nelson. Had Shogun for lunch, which sucks! Not going there a third time, heck why did I even go the second time? Then watched Journey to the Center of the Earth 3D with Brendan Fraser in it. Then went to Ampang to see Jia-Por and Mimi Aiyee and Jon. Then had dinner at Shyet Li's Kopitiam in Great Eastern Mall. The one with the bald indian dude. 99% of the shots taken by JonC.

Bus taken inside car
I'm in the picture!

That's a big-ass mirror!
Mimi Ayee

That's what you get when you ask your grandma to smile!
Laughing at Jia Por
"Gu-de!"

Tumini
Me. I like this shot of me. I'm not extra ugly in it.
Haha glasses...
Hi!
I like this pic too. Maybe it's because a lot of my face is covered?
KLCC. Shaky hands anyone?
Straight lines!
Trying to think of something less corny.
Sadly I can't think of anything not corny.
What to say ar?
Hexagonal shapes, due to my lens. Crappy lens...
View from veranda again for the last time.

I guess that sums up my holiday in Malaysia. This post is way overdue...
