That's eff'in metal!

Taken quite a while back. I think it was last Tuesday. Seriously, what the hell happened? Might it be a cat? Or did the bird just get caught in the air conditioning system? Whatever happened, that's really metal.

I heard chanting the day before. Must have been a voodoo ceremony. No one invites me to their parties. What a bunch of assholes...

No torso, no head, nothing left.

Click for more a more detailed view.

Not far away, entrails? And see that spot of blood at the top left hand corner?

It's depressing...

The fact that the Badminton Mens Singles Finals is on in a few minutes and it's not showing on Channel 7 or SBS.

Edit: It doesn't matter. Chong Wei lost straight sets. Disappointed. Now that's even more depressing.

Friday Tunes

In attempt to at least update often, here we have a new section called 'Friday Tunes!' Basically I'll post up Youtube videos or maybe links to songs. Songs that I think are cool. Though my taste would differ quite a bit from yours, I will try to post up songs that you might like, as well as try to expose you to less mainstream, or more heavier metal tunes that aren't radio friendly.

OK I've got quite a lineup for you today!

Slipknot will be releasing their new album "All Hope Is Gone" later this month. And they've got new masks again! Really like Joey Jordison's new mask, though as a Chrisitian that's probably not the right response. But then again, maybe Slipknot itself isn't the type of music that a Christian should listen to.

Anyway here's "Psychosocial".

Next up is Underoath. This is actually from their older album "Define The Great Line". New album is coming out next month. Nice metalcore band. Anyway here's " In Regard To Myself".

Last but not least here's Dragonforce with "Heroes Of Our Time".

MSO Perisher Blue Trip 2008

Went to Perisher Blue on Saturday. The trip was organized by the Malaysian Student Organization (MSO) of ANU. It was a day trip. I (kinda) learned how to snowboard. Well after countless times of falling on the knees or on the butt, that is... I can't really turn well, and I can't definitely can't ride switch (with my back foot forward). But all in all, it was a good experience. Thankfully I don't ache all over anymore... Now pictures! Didn't take many though. Seeing as I was snowboarding and all. And besides it was really cold. For these pics, my hands went all red. And camera couldn't autofocus properly. Had to do things manually. Well enjoy (hopefully...)

Wow... The weather seems bad. That makes things more scary...

Storm's a brewing...

Not really. I just messed with the pics...

Person.

It's quite gray though, because of the snow.

Mini icicles.

Person.

People.

Person.

Ski lift. You sit on this thing and it brings you all the way to the top, in case you didn't know... I'm treating you readers like a bunch of kindergarteners...

Too white!

Person.

Person. Out of focus. Him too. Anyways this is how it really was like up there. Snowing a lot.

My feet. I must have looked really goofy the whole time. Oversized jacket, goofy shoes... I don't want to know what I looked like.

Rack. You leave your stuff here and go inside hoping no one steals your skis or board.

Friends. Carol and Yong Jian. Taken before getting on the bus.

Me on the bus.

END!

OK I know the pics, the tone and whole feel of every pic seems different. That's cos I noob mar...

Sennheiser MX 460, you've failed me.

So annoying. My earphones are faulty now. Don't buy Sennheiser MX460 earphones. They are pretty cheap. My right piece cover has come off and before this it wasn't problem. All I had to do was put them back in position, and they'll stay there for most of the time. But now the bass in the right piece is inexistant. There's no bass! And it's so weird. IMBA now. And I've only used this for about half a year. Maybe I can go claim warranty... Or I'll just have to go buy another pair of earphones...

Warning. This will be a total waste of your time. Not to mention will make you more retarded than you already are.

Proceed with caution. A whole lot of bimboness ahead. Anticipate cam-whoring and idiotic behaviour and brain damaging language. You've been warned.

OH and another thing. Please don't think of me any lesser than you do because of this post. I don't really act like this in real life. This is just purely fictional for the purpose of this post. Don't judge me. And besides, I'm sure you take pictures of yourself in public toilets and changing rooms. Don't look at me like that. I know you do. And I don't. And that makes me better than you. OK enough with the verbal diarrhea. Now visual diarrhea!

This is what I ate for dinner. Curry Chicken and Sambal Prawns and Rice. Mmmmm... Actually the curry, looks like curry, smells like curry, is actually curry, but doesn't taste like curry! And if you're really blur, that was a play with Lingham's statement.

I've gotta hurl. That's how I keep my figure y'know. That and the fact that it tasted horrible... (Disclaimer: I'm not anorexic, and I don't self induce vomit. And I don't support such behaviour. Love your body! Love what you eat!)

iPod, it's a gurl's best fren... So pretty. It's prettier than me. I'm gonna bitchslap my iPod. Mreow...

Run Morpheus! Don't get caught by Merovingian!

Camwhoreness level 1. Eww...

I think I look better in black. Camwhoreness level 2. Damn it's really hard to think of a Ah Lian statement when I'm wearing a KSE tee in the pic.

Poke poke.

I prefer jeans to shorts.

Check out my jeans! They make my ass look smaller...

OK... I think I'll stop with all the bimbotic attitude.

I want a new guitar. But not that there's anything wrong with my Jackson...

But I think I should think of getting an amp first. Very hard to rock without one.

Oh yeah what happened to Morpheus? He got his ass whooped...

END!

Foaming at the mouth? Having seizures? Hallucinating? WOW this is a health risk. This is the first and last time I post something this pointless. Blame Qi Hong...

Google up the lyrics. It's worthwhile.

Say something funny! *Kachak*

Unilodge Crossroads Bible Study ( dan lain lain...). I like this group shot.

Blurry pics.

Blurry pics. Automatically we'd think, man this sucks. My hands were shaky, or the person moved, or focus was wrong. But I think blurry pics have a certain appeal. You can guess peekaboo with them. Ok seriously, you can't see how they look. And in a few years down the line, if you see these pics, you still probably can tell who they are even though they've changed already because they haven't really changed. I probably am not making much sense now so I'll stop.

Notice how I put Foo's and Jia Ling's pic together? Actually Jia Ling pic wasn't out of focus or anything. This was taken from a pic of Wan Yong's I think. But I thought why not try to get a pattern going. But now I think I kinda messed up the pattern.

ANU International Ball 2008: Broadway

I'm posting this and the event hasn't even ended. I went for the ANU International Ball today. And guess what? I wore the same thing I wore to the Prefect Reunion. Just different shoes (which I had to get from Big W for a whopping $40 and it's those cheap generic shoes, ughhh) and my friends tie.

How was it? Well I left early, so that's saying something. But what kills me is the fact that I didn't get many nice shots. Really regret not going to the front of the stage to take close up pics of the performers.

Food? Nothing much to brag about. Had Battered Salmon with Tomato Rice (or might have been some kind of Rissoto). And had mud cake for dessert, which wasn't very nice in my opinion.

Entertainment? There were a few dance performances, 2 band gigs before I left. The first band, well it wasn't that good. I didn't know what the first song was, but couldn't really hear the vocallist. He wasn't that good. The second song was Bring Me To Life by Evanescence. I really liked the choice of song. The female singer was good. And I liked her dress, but that's not really relevant. The guitar seemed a bit of in the intro which really bugged me. Last was This Love by Maroon 5. But all in all they were ok. The next band was a duo. I forgot what was their first song, but their second was a Radiohead song, which I don't remember about, and the last was a Britney cover, Hit Me Baby One More Time! They didn't leave a strong impression on me. Oh there was also this choir that did a few broadway songs. I only remember them doing Mama Mia by Abba. Dance performance? There was this salsa thing by the organizing committee, some chinese fan dancing and the most interesting one of all, the Dominatrix performance by the MSO. Man that was some scary stuff... Moral of the story, don't mess with Malaysian chicks... Hmm these performances remind me of the time I got to play with Lemon Tea for SAM corroboree.

I left early because I followed a friend who had to sleep. And the rest of the table were going to the Casino after the ball and I didn't want to go and also they all speak chinese. There was no way I was going to fit in. So...

Well that's all. Look at the crappy pics!

Table.

Stuff on the table.

Look up!

Quite pretty.

Sun Sky.

Fei Tong and Err... ( I didn't catch her name!) She's from Sydney.

Me, Irfan and Fei Tong. Err... took the pic. Shaky hands anyone?

Irfan complained I didn't take his picture.

Andy and Err...

Fei Tong. Taken by Irfan.

Dessert.

Dance by the Committee.

Band Performance. I must say the one who shone was the chick at the most right. Her dress was reminiscent of the dress worn by the female vocalist from High and Mighty Color.

I like this shot. It's sharp. The choir. Note: second from the right.

Crappy pics right? And you'd notice that they're really grainy if you zoom in. Failed yet again. Feel free to comment on how terrible they are. I didn't really edit them much. Without Lightroom, I don't feel like doing much editting. I need a better computer.

Oh I also bought a book of raffle tickets. Hope I got the first prize, which is a return flight to Malaysia. But if I did get it, I would have gotten a call by now, which means... poopsicles...!

If you were there too, do comment on your experience! ( Though highly unlikely seeing as not many people read my blog.)
