Of Facebook and Greyscale.

I really don't know if I should do this, trying to keep my blog updated that is. But I don't really have much to do before semester starts. Actually I do but hey who cares.

Anyway I've done something I haven't done for a pretty long time: Log into Facebook. Now I've pretty much neglected it. I mean when I get the email that some update has happened or someone wrote on my wall, I'd log in but otherwise I'd do nothing with it. I'm starting to ramble. Anyway with nothing better to do, I log on. And something caught my eye. I've only got 30 odd friends. Hmmm that's sad, I thought to myself. Do I only have about 30 friends? So then in attempt to comfort myself in the thought that I had more friends, I looked at other friend's friends list to see who else has Facebook that I can add. And hahaha not much came up. Then it suddenly came to me. I don't really have many friends now do I? That's why I only have 30+ friends. Eureka! Ok now if you're gonna ask me to open up and be more friendly and stuff, well all I can say in response to that is it ain't easy for me but I'm trying. Oh and add me in Facebook! I don't mind having friends that aren't really my friends and all I care about is having the most Facebook friends. PS the statement before this is meant to be sarcastic.

OK I've shared my thoughts with you. Now look at some pictures. This collection is called Streets of Uptown, taken on the streets of KL on the 2nd of July. Editted in black and white as some pics were overexposed and this was the only way to save them. Usually I would loathe graininess in the pics, but I seem to like it in some of these pics. Well I hope you like them.

I respect your religious views, but why do you have to cover yourself like that?

Qi Hong modelling. Lolz...

I really like this pic. When I took it, the girl in front puts her hand over her friend and I thought damn I should have focused on them instead of this auntie. But I guess it still looks good in the end. Actually I'm not sure if I actually intended to focus on the two girls all along. I honestly can't remember. Well at least the photo turned out all right...

Can't imagine Qi Hong being fair. Well you can now!

Nice hair...

Random shot.

People setting up the stage at the end of the road that Sungai Wang is on. Near the crossroad.

Random shot.

Jun Sheng.

Waiting for the monorail.

In the monorail.

Random shot taken on the monorail.

In KL sentral.

Cute couple. Lala guy though.

Well that's all for this collection. Thanks for reading. For more photos, check out my photoblog. I even put a link at the sidebar!

Idiot Box just got Dumb-er.

Now that I'm in Sydney and I don't really have much to do, I watched a lot of MTV. Well it surprises me how many "reality" dating shows exist in this world ( or at least on that one channel).
There's Tila Tequila's Shot at Love, Date My Mom, Next, Rock of Love etc. Reality shows, nothing really surprising. They just can be pretty annoying, that's all right? Not really. Read on.

Tila Tequila is bisexual, so the winner could either be male or female. O.o On Date My Mom, the participants were gay. And it was pretty weird to watch 2 guys kiss and it wasn't just a peck (I changed the channel straight away). It seems homosexuality is slowly being accepted by the younger generation. It's scary... I don't mean to be a homophobe and it's not like I hate gay people. It's just something that I can't agree with, both from a personal and religious point of view.

It's sad to see how there's nothing worth watching on TV. Well at least there's still the classics like Everybody Loves Raymond and Friends.

My First Week in Malaysia

Personally, I don't really like to blog about what I did. But I'll make an exception this time, not that I've never done that before. Well for the sake of posting a few pics...

Monday. Bah Kut Teh with the Teddies. Everyone was there.

Tuesday.Went for lunch with Sean and Yung Fei. Then watched Wanted. Then had J.Co. No pictures. Too bad.

Wednesday. Went to KL with Qi Hong, Jun Sheng and Sue Anne. First went to Low Yat, got my EF 50mm f/1.8. Then went to Pavillion for Nasi Lemak and J.Co (again?)

Thursday.Went to Mid Valley for Chilli's with Sean, Yung Fei and Julian. The waitress or whatever her position was pretty attractive. Lolz... Sean was like drooling all over her. Went for bowling after that, and then met up with Zachary and Shong Jiew. Forgive me if I spelt your name wrongly Shong Jiew. I can't remember how to spell it. Anyways it was nice seeing all the old faces...

Friday. Went to Sunway with the Teddies minus Kai for "Sou Lan"/ Hancock. Then went for cell later. Cell has really grown, and it's nice to feel like I'm not the youngest one anymore. Hahaha

Saturday. Went for Prefect Reunion even though I wasn't one. Felt inferior to the people with external flash. They and their flashes. Jun Sheng's homemade flash attachement works just as well though.

Sunday. Went to church. Went for lunch after that. Then went for dinner with the Kangs and the Lees and Wen Meng Kor Kor and Ah Si Che Che, and their children Vanessa and Valerie. ( Feels kinda weird calling them kor kor and che che since I don't exactly know them personally.)

Ok that's my first week there for you. I'll post the 2nd week soon, as soon as I find the camera cable. If you like any pic you see and would like a larger version, do let me know and I'll send it to you via MSN or some similiar means. If you don't like your picture being on here, do let me know as well and I'll remove it. If you find the pictures of a quality that is unacceptable, I'm sorry. I tried my very best to salvage and edit most of them.

PS. Esther or Jason or Pei Si. If you ever read this, I've got quite a few pics of Vanessa that Ah Si Che Che might want. Let me know if they do.

Blog Maintenance. We're not closed!

I've got connection!

Will post photos when I get back to Australia.

2 weeks went by too fast. I really don't want to go back there. Sigh. Yeah I know my family is there and all, but I really don't feel that Australia is for me. I can't wait to finish my studies and get back to here. ISghasfklabsfagd!

I guess this is the end. I'll blog again when I get to Sydney.
